One of my favorite cars is the Porsche Carerra GT. Here is a 15-second video clip of two of them. The video itself isn’t much special, but listen closely to the sounds those motors produce. I cannot think of another car with a better sounding motor. |

From the "absurd" files… This video shows a competition between helicopter pilots. Their task: open as many beer bottles as possible with the time allotted. The bottle opener is attached to the helicopter skid. Completely pointless perhaps, but it looks like a lot of fun. |

Super Mario Brothers is only a 6 minute game. Check out this race to kill Bowser in front of a live crowd. With Kenny Loggins playing even. These guys have amazing skill. It doesn’t get any closer than this! I wonder how many hours it took to become this proficient at SMB. |

People ask why I would want to put a powerful motor into the Mini Cooper. This illustrates my reasoning. Take a lightweight car like this Smart and add a rocking powerplant like a high-revving Suzuki GSXR motorcycle 4 cylinder. The results speak for themselves. |

Whoa. After seeing this my first thought was "keyboards are going the way of the dinosaur." We will probably eventually be typing directly on monitors, but I also think (sooner) keyboards won’t have traditional plastic keys as we know them know. Imagine a touchscreen keyboard with changing layout. Each program you open will optimize keyboard space with shortcut keys. If you open MS Word, you’ll get keys for bold, italic, etc. If you open Internet Expolorer, you’ll get keys for favorites, back, forward, etc. And if you open Adobe photoshop, you’ll be able to draw right on the keyboard. Of course all of the hand gestures from this video will become common as well. If you are a graphic designer, architect, gamer, or elementry school student, you will probably be seeing larger touch screens like this sooner. |
